If you have 2–3 years of dance training and a basic understanding of dance terminology, our Beginner classes will help you build a strong foundation.

For dancers with 3–5 years of experience and a solid grasp of alignment and vocabulary, our Advanced Beginner classes offer a supportive challenge.

With 5–8 years of training, Intermediate students focus on technical proficiency and deeper artistry.

For dedicated dancers with 8+ years of experience, these classes demand high skill and commitment.
Pointe Class
Pointe Class
Interested in pointe? Dancers must attend a ballet class before pointe on the same day—our schedule makes this easy!
These levels are applicable to every dance form offered at CCD, including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern & Contemporary.
If an experienced ballet dancer is taking jazz dance for the first time, the dancer should consider the “fundamental” level first, if that class is available. CCD faculty members will make suggestions to the students after observations in the classes and have discretion to place students in the appropriate level to keep the students healthy and safe.
Definition of training: regular classes every week in the dance form with qualified faculty.
