About Pre-Professional Dance
To serve the students who wish to pursue professional careers or collegiate dance degrees after their training with CCD, we offer two levels of Pre-Professional Programs. Students will have additional ballet technique classes and modern/contemporary technique classes, in addition to all of their regular technique classes.
Pre-Professional students will also work on variations and/or Pas de deux depending on their levels. All Pre-pro students are highly encouraged to attend either Youth America Grand Prix, or Young Dancers’ Competition hosted by Denver Ballet Guild.
Only Pre-professional students will be considered for lead roles in the Nutcracker. The maximum class size is 10 students.
