Nate Weng is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. He received his early and recent training in ballet under the direction Ballet Arizona and training in other dance forms at Betty Johnson’s Performing Arts and Bender Performing Arts. As a student, he performed principal rolls in Swan Lake, Paquita, and Copellia. He also performed soloists and core positions in Mr. Valcarcel’s pieces Dusk Fields and Shostakovich and other classical works. Nate has been in roles and set classical pieces such as La Bayadere, Cinderella, Giselle, and Nutcracker. While at The School of Ballet Arizona, Mr. Weng received the David Hallberg Scholarship for Boys. His dance repertoire includes Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballroom, Flamenco, Modern and Lyrical. He has choreographed for dance programs and pro team competitions.
With a profound passion for the arts and the beauty industry, Nate’s early career in professional ballet dancing for twenty-three years exposed him to the creativity and skill of hairstylists who styled his hair for performances. That had led him to where he is now as a hair stylist! Nate is dedicated to building strong, lasting relationships with his students.
