Meighan Connolly, MS, OTR/L
Meighan started her journey with CCD in 2019 when her daughter started dancing with CCD as a primary dancer. Meighan’s daughter continues to enjoy dance as an intermediate level dancer at CCD as well as being a part of the Nutcracker. Meighan grew up in Michigan and earned her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Meighan has been an Occupational Therapist for 21 years and specializes in pediatric Occupational Therapy. Meighan started off her career working as both an outpatient and inpatient Occupational Therapist in various hospitals including Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, The University of Chicago Medical Center and Comer Children’s Hospital. Meighan currently works in the Adams 12 School district as a school based Occupational Therapist and at Bal Swan Children’s Center as a warm water Occupational Therapist. Meighan’s passion lies in working with children of all abilities and ages. As a pediatric Occupational Therapist, Meighan enjoys helping children become stronger and more independent with their visual motor skills, motor coordination skills, daily living skills, access skills and sensory processing skills.
As a pediatric Occupational Therapist, Meighan brings her knowledge, skill sets and understanding of sensory processing, neurodiversity and inclusion to CCD.
