Erin Patterson, a native of Colorado, grew up training at several metro-area studios including the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities and Boulder Ballet. She moved to Pittsburgh, PA to pursue a B.F.A. in dance from Point Park University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She began her professional performance career spending 3 seasons with Texture Contemporary Ballet in Pittsburgh. From there, she went on to freelance perform in NYC, dance for 6 O’Clock Dance Theater in Dallas, and is now excited to start a new journey with Ballet Ariel in Denver.
Some notable performance credits include choreography by Ohad Naharin, Alex Ketley, Robert Moses, Peter Mertz, and Mathew Powell. She has also had the privilege to perform in several classics including: The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, and Giselle.
Aside from performing, Erin loves sharing her passion and knowledge of dance with young students! She has 8 years of teaching experience, where she has connected with students from all over the country. Erin is thrilled to join Colorado Conservatory of Dance this season to work with talented young artists and share in the joy of dance!
