Diane Scott is a seasoned marketing professional with a proven ability to design and deliver highly successful marketing and product initiatives. Her professional career includes progressively responsible experience at both large established companies (AMD, Oracle) and startups (Vivant, Ninth House, Acumen International, Scopus Technology) in Silicon Valley, specifically in strategic planning, product management, and marketing.

Diane and her husband relocated to Colorado in 2000, a great place to start a family! Diane continued her work as an independent marketing consultant and became involved in the community. As a member of the Hiring Committee at her children’s charter school, she was part of a team that hired teachers, head coaches and administrators at the school for nine years. In addition, Diane performed fundraising and event planning with the Emergency Family Assistance Association (“EFAA”), where she has been a member of the Guild since 2006. Diane also treasures the thirteen years she volunteered at CCD with an amazing community of parents and guardians to make CCD performances successful! Currently, Diane spends time at her easel and taking classes to develop her oil painting technique and talent. Painting has always been a passion in her life, and she is thrilled to focus on her art full time.

Diane earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College. Diane and her husband Walter live in Boulder, Colorado. Diane also completed a PhD in the college application process for a Dance Major in 2021-22 by empowering her daughter to successfully complete a multitude of videos, auditions, applications, resumes, and interviews, a process complicated by the slow and uncertain emergence from pandemic isolation. Amelia, a CCD alum, is now a thriving Modern Dance Performance Major at the University of Oklahoma, Norman.
