    Brian Frutig is the managing member of Frutig Law LLC, a small estate planning and elder law firm based in Broomfield, Colorado and Cleveland, Ohio that serves clients in Colorado, California, New York, the District of Columbia, and Ohio.  Brian is licensed in Colorado, California, New York, and the District of Columbia.

    Brian focuses his practice on helping families prepare for incapacity during life and for efficient and effective intergenerational transfers and charitable giving after life.  He prides himself on preserving family relationships and avoiding unnecessary conflict through an emphasis on education and communication.  In his previous professional life Brian was a human rights and international humanitarian law attorney and a management consultant.

    Brian believes in being a citizen lawyer and strives to engage in the communities in which he lives.  He is on the Board of Directors for The Senior Hub, which serves the aging community in Adams County with Meals on Wheels, a food pantry, adult day services, and an array of online and in-person community support services.  He is also a volunteer for Learn Your Rights in Colorado (LYRIC), an organization that teaches 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendment rights to students between grades 5 and 12.

    In his personal life, Brian can be found spending time with his wife (Sarah) and their 8 nieces and nephews, running in the mountains, and watching and playing football (soccer).

    Brian received his degrees from William & Mary Law School (JD), King’s College London (MA), and Georgetown University (BA).
