Joined CCD in 2017

David and his wife Cindi have lived in Broomfield since 1976.  They moved to town from Boulder where they both graduated from CU.  They raised two girls (now both in their 30’s) and have lived in their current house 30 years.  David came to Boulder from Michigan where he grew up outside of Detroit.

David was a banker in town in the 1990’s.  During that time, he became connected to Ballet Nouveau the predecessor to Colorado Conservatory of Dance.  His bank was the first commercial sponsor of the organization.  The bank maintained the relationship until after the bank was acquired several years later.

In 2017, David was a dancer in Broomfield’s, “Dancing with the Broomfield Stars”.  He chose Julia Wilkinson Manley (no relation) to be his partner and Danny Ryan (then CCD’s Assistant Artistic Director) to choreograph their dance.   This was his first introduction to formal dance training.  Subsequently he took several adult classes and recognized the benefits of dance to other athletic sports like soccer which he coached for 15 years.

As a financial advisor David brings his banking and financial experience to the board.
