Students in Intermediate 1 will build their skills and knowledge of dance and classical ballet by learning awareness of their arms, heads and body placement along with more complex movements of the feet and legs.
Students in Intermediate 2 begin adding basic turns and jumps to their movement vocabulary while they build strength, control and awareness for the carriage of their bodies.
In Intermediate 3, emphasis is placed on strength, flexibility and rhythm, as well as mastery of the basic skills, body placement and classical positions.
Emphasis is on the enjoyment of dance within the framework and regimen of classical ballet training. In Intermediate 3, students are encouraged to study Intro to Modern dance, providing an introduction to contemporary dance and knowledge as they grow into strong diverse dancers.
