Interim Classes

Level: Divisions 2-8

If you are like many dancers, the idea of taking even a week off from dance makes you nervous and cranky! So what should you do to avoid major dance withdrawal before and after CCD’s summer programs?

Dates:
June 9 - June 20 (2 weeks prior to summer session)
August 4-August 15 (2 weeks after summer session)

Classes are held Monday through Friday, with the exception of Divisions 5-8 Pointe classes.

Times:

  • 1:30-3:00 pm: Divisions 2-4 Ballet Technique
  • 3:15-4:45 pm: Divisions 5-8 Ballet Technique
  • 4:45-5:15 pm: Divisions 5-8 Pointe (M/W/F Only)

Great reasons to take our Interim classes:

  • Maintain your level of training! Without interim classes, you may go weeks at a time without a class! This is a very bad idea for dancers who are en pointe, and not advisable for any dancer who wants to maintain technique over the summer.
  • Get ready for fall auditions! You want to look your best when you audition for CCD’s The Nutcracker – the way to do this is to take class consistently throughout the summer!
  • Meet summer training requirements! Dancers who are planning to participate in The Nutcracker or CCD’s Student Company must meet summer training requirements. Interim classes count toward these requirements.

Tuition:

You can pay by the class for interim classes or purchase a class punch card. Tuition is non-refundable once classes are purchased.

Drop In Class: $18 per hour

Punch Card: $108 for 6 hours, $153 for 9 hours, $241 for 15 hours
